What is a Drop Point?

Looking for Tip Sites Nearby, Green Waste Tip Sites, Woodchip Tip Sites, Places to drop Logs…

Website Images (4).png

This is what you get when you have the Green Line Arb App, you get to see local places that have registered as a 'Drop Point' or 'Tip Site', people who are looking to take your wood and chip at the end of the day so they can put it to good use.

You get to empty your truck for no cost, they get free materials. It’s a win win.

What do you get with Green Line Drop Points:

Local places to tip:  Empty your truck around the corner from your work site, saving you time and money. Make the end of the day hassle free and organise your tip site in advance with Green Line.

Get the details: Click on the Drop Point nearest you and see if they are looking for wood or chip, which days they are available and get their contact details to arrange drop off. They have put all the info there so you only give them a call if you have what they are looking for.

You don’t waste time because all the info is there.

Up to date info: Every tip site has control over their Drop Point, if they are full you can remind them to set their point to inactive until they are ready to receive more wood or chip, meaning you know when you come to the app who is actively looking for materials.

Our Drop Points are over the moon to receive your green waste materials! From Special Needs schools, to animal centres to private homes, you can make a real difference just by emptying your truck, boost your reputation in your local community, we've even had reports of Tree Companies landing work from their drop points.

So get involved and start recycling your waste through Green Line Arb.

How to use Drop Points:

Website Images (5).png

Each drop point / tip site has buttons to instantly call, email, and find directions to their location (as long as the Drop Point has filled out all fields... sometimes they will only have a phone number)

You can see what days they are available to receive drops -

Coloured means available, grey means unavailable.

Check out any dropping instructions and see the materials that they are looking for. Some Drop Points are only looking for wood, or they are only looking for chip. Make sure to check out what they want before making contact.

Once you have found a Drop Point that works for you.... give them a call, arrange the drop, empty your truck.

Search in a different Location

If you want to plan ahead and find a drop point which is outside of your current location , you can!

  • Find the area you want to search on the map.

  • Press and hold.

  • A "set Location" will come up on the screen.

  • Select "Use Selected Location"

  • And there you have it.
