Helpful Tips
How to have a successful drop:
First of all, we appreciate your commitment to repurposing excess materials. The collaboration between you, our app users, and the environment is a powerful force for positive change. Let's kickstart your Drop Point and make a difference!
🌳 Optimizing Drop Opportunities:
To increase your chances of receiving drops, shed some light on your project or uses for materials, the more detail here helps to connect with local tree workers. Specify the maximum available days and provide any dropping instructions. Keep in mind that many tree companies avoid working on Sundays (with exceptions), so consider expanding your availability for more opportunities.
🔒 Secure Drops with a Call:
If you prefer a call before a drop, hide your address by selecting 'No' under "Show Address" at the top of the page. This way, arborists need to contact you for your full address, ensuring a more personalized connection.
🔥 Wood Burning Tips:
For those seeking wood for burning, note that it's green wood from work sites. Proper seasoning and processing are crucial. Learn more in our blog post: The Art of Seasoning and Drying Wood at Home.
📚 Explore the Benefits:
Discover the many uses and benefits of arb chip and wood chip in our blog posts: Drop Point Community.
🌐 Your Responsibility:
As a Green Line participant, you're responsible for the registered site. Ensure you have the authority to receive materials at the specified location.
⏰ We're Still Growing:
Green Line is a new concept, and we're actively spreading the word in the arb community. While we're growing, it may take some time before you receive your first call. Your patience is highly appreciated. And you can help us spread the word, if you know any tree workers, make sure they know about Green Line Arb.
🙏 Thank You for Your Involvement:
We appreciate your enthusiasm and participation in this exciting initiative. If you have any questions, feel free to drop us a line. Together, we're making a positive impact on the environment!
