What is Green Line Arb?
Green Line Arb is a platform designed by tree surgeons to help the land based industries to work more efficiently. After decades in the industry, and working in different parts of the country, we found the same questions and challenges were coming up for everyone. So we created a tool that took some of the headache out of the everyday. Green line has the answers all in one place, helping you to save time, save stress and save money.
What is a ‘Drop Point’?
This is a ‘Green Line’ term referring to a place that tree surgeons, gardeners and landscapers can recycle their green waste or hardcore to people who will put it to good use. These are non commercial locations that have been registered through our Green Line portal online and are now showing up on the app for the land working community.

What’s the process for registering a Drop Point?
When you come to our online portal, enter your details in the fill out form and it will create an account for you. Once you have an account, you can fill out what you are looking to receive and when. When you hit ‘update’ we will receive your request. Our team will give you a quick call to confirm your drop point and see if you have any questions. Once all confirmed, your point will show on our industry app. Just remember to update it if you have any changes. It’s easy to log in and out as you need to. Oh, and did we mention, it’s FREE to register and have a Drop Point on the Green Line Map.
If I have enough chip for now, do I delete my account?
No, there is an option to have your Drop Point ‘active’ or ‘inactive’ on the map and you can change this as and when you need to. You can also change the days you are available and put any specific info into the portal to make it work for you.
How do I keep a record of how much green waste materials I receive?
The Green Line App (the tool for the industry people) has a function which creates Waste Transfer Notes. This information shows you who has “Dropped” with you, exactly what it is, how much and where it has come from. They can send that form directly to your email from the app so you can keep a record of each transaction.
What if I have a complaint?
Green Line Arb is a tool to connect people to share the Earths resources. We cannot monitor or take responsibility for the individuals. But if you do have a bad experience with an individual please send us an email to let us know so we can prevent this happening in the future.
Is Green Line Arb just an app?
Green Line Arb is a platform. We have a portal for people to register Drop Points and the App is the digital combi-tool for people working in the land-based industries. We have a newsletter to keep you up to date with industry news and a social media presence to stay connected. You can be a part of the Green Line community in any or all, of these ways.

Does Green Line confirm qualifications listed on people’s profiles?
Green Line is just the tool to connect people to companies looking for workers, we don’t do any confirmation of qualifications and experience listed on the app so make sure you follow all your normal evaluation processes when hiring.
What does it cost?
The Green Line Arb app if free right now... we will let you know if that changes, but right now, it's free to download and use.
Do you have to have a permanent position to post a job?
No, that’s the beauty of it. If you have work for a couple of days a week or just for one big job that you have coming up, you can post a job and get it in front of trained professionals in your area.
I do a service relevant to the land based industries (e.g. Chipper repairs / first aid trainer), how can I get on the map?
